I was on the phone earlier this week and walked out of the room where Micah was (so that I could hear) The phone call was important (it was about Micah’s possible preschool for next year) I had a real hard time getting in touch with anyone, so when I finally recieved a call back….. I needed to take it. Now, I was away from Micah’s side for NO MORE than
3 minutes and this is what he has to show of it..

In the 3 minutes that I was away from Micah, he climbed into the computer chair (a swiveling rolly one) and stood up in it trying to reach something on top of the printer. He obviously fell out. Now the interesting thing about this (and you may have to click on the pictures to enlarge them) is he was wearing Mardi Gras beads when this took place…. as you can clearly see, when he fell out of the chair and his face hit the floor…. the beads were between him and the floor. The poor little man has perfect circles of beads on his face I really am a good mother… I promise!

We had a babysitter (Laura) come on Wednesday night to watch Micah, while Stacy and I went out on a well needed date! We went to Cheesecake Factory (one of my all time favorites) It was delicious! I ordered Chicken Romano and Stacy got some kind of Mexican dish called Chicken Tortillas. He didn’t really like his food. But who cares about what we ordered though… it’s the Cheesecake that matters and I got Snickers YUMMY!!! Stacy got White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut. Both were delicious! We enjoyed our time together and ended the evening with a peaceful quiet night of the Season Finale of American Idol We liked both of the Davids, but I wanted David A to win, not because I was planning to buy his Cd or anything, but because like I said before, he is cute, polite, young, and just a darling little guy to watch. Stacy was cheering for David Cook and was excited that he won. Stacy probably will buy his Cd (he likes that kind of music….anyway, now it summer time and time for what?

Isn’t that the truth. The past weekend my family (sisters and aunts) had a yard sale. We normally have at least one, sometime two a year(one in the spring and one in the fall) Anyway, I think we had more junk to sale this time than ever! We had a real good turn out, and after the sale was over we only had 2 1/2 car loads full of stuff for Goodwill. It makes me wonder…. where in the world does all of this junk come from. I had a lot of clothes to sale. Most of my clothes that I was able to wear BM don’t fit me now…. so I thought I’d make a couple bucks. Well, I ended up making just over $200! I was so excited! Well, some of the $200 was Micah’s since he sold some of his clothes, and a blanket, but the majority is mine. And with our anniversary this week, and father’s day in less than a month, the sale came just in time. I think that everyone did good…. I think the final total for 2 days worth of Yard Sale came to just over $700! I think it’s fun to have yard sales. You get to meet some interesting people, that’s for sure. I also think that it’s funny when people try to bargain with you and tell you what they payed for something at the last sale they went to. But the best thing is when people get so excited and pay you for things that are considered junk to you. Well, now on Tuesday, my garage is a little cleaner, my house is filled with a little less junk, and my pockets are full os money….. Maybe I’ll start a pile for the next yard sale

Mother’s Day was wonderful this year. My sisters and I (and Jerms) cooked for Mama this year. We had an EXCELLENT meal and a fun time. Mama wants an I phone, and the new ones come out in June, so to help her buy one, Laura and I chipped in and bought her a giftcard to the mall. She was quite excited to say the least. After we spent time with my fam, we went home to get ready for the next round. Stacy’s parent’s came over Sunday evening. We chatted and talked about Stacy’s childhood. Stacy cooked for me on Sunday night (very RARE occasion unless it’s on the grill) He made country friend steak, mashed potatoes, peas, biscuits, and gravy! It was delicious to say the least. On Monday two of my three meals were made up of Slim Fat shakes, to make up for Mother’s Day. On to what I recieved…. Our anniversary is on May 22, so Stacy combined Mother’s Day and anniversary together and got me….. Drum Roll Please…… A New Sony Alpha 200!! (A digital camera) I am so excited and have played with it everyday since I got it.
