I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice cream
I found out yesterday (through one of my favorite websites http://babycheapskate.blogspot.com/) that it was "Free Scoop Day" at Ben and Jerry’s. I have NEVER been to a Ben and Jerry’s before and who can turn down free icecream? Well, I could have easily BM (before Micah) It was something about having that boy in my belly that made me crave ice cream…. even until today! Anyway, I called Nut and Jerms A.K.A Uncle Ohm Nom Nom Nom and invited them to meet us for a sweet treat. The new Ben and Jerry’s in Dacula’s Kid Village has opened and that’s where we went. There was a crazy long line and Micah was already getting sleepy, so waiting for an hour for a free scoop was out of the question. But we were already out and already craving something cold and sweet, so we went to the next closest place…. Sonic. Well, do you remember what it felt like outside yesterday evening? It was a bit chilly to say the least… this coming from someone who is rarely cold (another thank you to Micah Man) anyway, we ended up ordering our icecream and $5.00 and 50 some odd degrees later, we ate our treats in the warmth of Jeremy’s car. We had a great time spending time with the McBryars, and Micah got to share some of Stacy’s M&M Blast which made him crazy hyper… I mean jumping all over the car and stuff….Maybe next time it will be warmer, but we had fun!
