Easter

Easter was a whole lot of fun this year. We went to my Paw-Paw’s house and all of the children had a big ol egg hunt! Micah had a blast! He even found 17 eggs! I ate a lot of delicious food including some of my aunt’s YUMMY squash casserole. I just love that stuff! I ate way more than I should have considering I’m in a wedding this coming weekend! I hope to goodness that the dress will still fit. I won’t get into it this time because I mainly wanted to post a couple pics, but I am trying my best to loose some weight. I’ll chat about that at a later date…. Meanwhile enjoy our Easter picsemoticon

Easter Bunny

So, I took Micah last week for his Easter Bunny Pictures. I have taken him to the same lady for two years of Santa and now two years of bunnies pictures. Last year for bunny pictures he was very small and the bunnies were actually shy and hid during most of the picture shoot. This year Micah was SO excited to see and pet these bunnies. So excited that instead of petting the buuny, he hit the bunny. At first he was calm and gently petted "Flop," but as pictures continued instead of feeding the poor rabbit the carrot… Micah began to beat the poor thing with it. Poor Bunny!emoticon He didn’t get into too much trouble, and I am one of these people who laughs at other’s pain, therefore I laughed (MEAN ME) at the pitiful bunny. Anyway the pictures came in today and turned out darling! The bunny who was beat with his own food is still living and hopping around. emoticonA MAJOR THANK YOU goes out to my aunt who will remain nameless who purchased this DARLING outfit for Micah! I may be a little biased, but isn’t he the cutest Little Stacy ever!!

St. Patricks Day

We may or we may not be of Irish Descent, I’m not sure…. I guess I should find out, but any excuss is a good excuss to celebrate if you ask me. We’re not drinkers, so there will not be any green beer emoticonbut there will be green eggs (we don’t have ham)

I made Micah some green eggs for breakfast. After he got done trying to figure out what in the world I was trying to feed him this morning, he smiled and gobbled them up. I didn’t buy him a St. Patrick’s Day shirt this year. All of the ones that I saw looked was too girly for a Little Man. Therefore I put him in the greenest thing he has. I don’t think that we plan on going anywhere today… Maybe Publix, but I had to make sure that NO BODY pinches him emoticon

19 M0nths

I can’t hardly believe it… I just looked at a calander (when I stay at home I have no idea what day of the week it is, much less what the actual date is) Anyway, Micah is 19 MONTHS old today! I can’t believe it! Over a year and a half has flown by. He has gotten so big so fast. He just looks and acts more and more like Stacy every day!
Up until 3 weeks ago, I said that I would NEVER have another child. I didn’t enjoy being pregnant like some people do. I didn’t glow! I hated not fitting in even maternity clothes, and I was so hot! Micah was born in August, so you can just imagine… I spent a lot of time in the airconditioning or in the pool. My feet were so swollen, this began very early and my feet just got bigger and bigger and BIGGER! I am so glad that I had a summer baby so that I could wear flip flops, if I had a winter baby, I probably wouldn’t even be able to fit into my tennis shoes. Well, 3 weeks ago, I decided that I think I would like another baby. (Stacy had already decided this when Micah was 6 months!) Micah is growing and can do a lot for himself. Although he can’t fix his own meals, dress himself, go to the bathroom by himself, or bathe himself, I feel that he still can do some things :) Anyway, feel free to pray for us, because insurance is an issue, plus I think I’d like Micah to at least be potty trained first, then I may share some good news in the next TWO years :) (Maybe by then Laura (my little sister) and Jeremy will be ready for a baby)

Bills, Bills, and More Bills

So, the other day I went to get the mail, and there was nothing in the mailbox. Now our mail lady is not on a schedule at all, you’d think they’d deliver the mail around the same time everyday, but in our neighborhood, that’s not what happens…. However we noramally get mail before the sun goes down. Well, on this particular day the mail hadn’t come and I heard a loud vehicle outside, thinking that it might be the mail lady, I peeked outside the garage door to see (it was just the neighbor across the street with a loud car) Anyway, Micah heard the door close and came running…. I told him that I thought the mail lady had finally come at 4:30! But it was not her, I told him that I guess it was good news, because no mail means No Bills! No Bills is good news…. And my little boy…. My 18 month old son to this responded…. are you ready, you won’t believe this…. He said "No Money" I laughed out loud and said, you’re right no money! Anyway, I just thought I’d share! This little bitty man cracks me up!!

Auction

So, Daddy and I had so much fun last weekend! We own a Moonwalk/ Entertainment Business together. While I was playing online (surprise surprise) last week I found out that there was going to be a Inflatable Auction in Commerce. I let Daddy know and we made plans to go. We got there early so that we could see everything blown up before the auction began. And all I have to say is…. Oh my Goodness!! The moonwalks were in awful shape. Maybe Daddy and I take Wonderful care of our’s or something, but these looked like they were 10 years old and probably had never even been wiped off. It was nasty, there might have been 1 out of the 23 that I would have let Micah touch. Yuck! What cracked us up was that people were buying these things. I mean we’ve bought one used moonwalk before and we spent MANY HOURS getting that thing decent, but our "Old Blue" was a Beauty compareed to these things! I don’t know if people just don’t care, or they didn’t have a clue. I mean, moonwalks aren’t that expensive to begin with, it’s the insurance that gets you…. and you have to have it. You can buy a brand new moonwalk for around $1200 and that comes with a blower! There were crazy loons at this auction who were paying $850 for a nasty, dirty, coming unstitched, duct taped moonwalks!! I don’t know. I’ve come to the conclusion that if this is what other businesses moonwalks truly look like, We are the Best ones out there!!emoticon WWW.Bringthefun.com
